I bought a Cannondale Adventure 3 on June 23rd 2010 from Ryan.
He provided excellent information, suggestions and advice at that time.

I'm reentering the bicycle world after over 40 years absence and find it far more challenging than I expected. It feels good to be back.

I'll be getting some more items from NE Cyclery in the future.

FINALLY a bike shop that knows what the hell they are doing . . . thank you thank you thank you for opening and for being everything I could want in a bike shop plus more in customer service. I have tried to figure out a way to ride as the big mommy with two young boys. I visited a bike shop that I have frequented quite a bit located at Louisiana and Montgomery in Albuquerque. When I explained that I wanted a way to ride with my two young boys, the sales person basically took a jab at me and I told him that I may look like a middle age frumpy housewife but IT AIN'T THE CASE . . . and rather then criticize me help me find a solution. The salesman basically shrugged it stating that they did not want the responsibility and I left in a huff promising never to do business there again - which I had been pretty loyal between ski purchases and bikes for at least a decade.
Anyway from there I proceeded to speak with three other bike shop folks on the phone and then took matters deeply into my own hands researching on the web. I came up with the idea of a tandem bike with a child extension trailer on the back. Son youngest could ride in a bike seat on the second seat if need be and older son age 5 could reach the pedals on the back extension trailer. I proceeded to look for bikes that were built to withstand that kind of torque and located NE Cyclery as a dealer of a cruiser tandem that would work. When I went in to tell them what I wanted to do - no one laughed at me or told me I was crazy but rather figured out how to make it work by getting out tools and bikes and trying every possible scenario that could work. Alas we found a solution and NE Cyclery has a committed customer in me and my two young sons for LIFE. Thank you especially to William.
